This winter I read Frankenstein--outside of school, just for fun. I thought that it was really good. It was interesting to me to see how Shelley made such a depressing story so interesting.

This winter I read Frankenstein--outside of school, just for fun. I thought that it was really good. It was interesting to me to see how Shelley made such a depressing story so interesting.
Empire of Storms is the fifth book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. This series is very long and can be slow at times. This book was slow to begin with but was more exciting toward the end. I almost gave up on this book but was glad that I stuck with it.

“The Unwanteds” by Lisa McMann is set in a dystopian world called Qwill where people are split into three categories at the age of 13, wanted, necessary, and Unwanted. If you were one of the lucky wanteds you went to university.
I read The Hunger Games. I am not a huge reader but this one caught my attention. I loved the action in the games and how much strategy was involved. The whole back story about why the games had to happen was a bit weird, but I guess there had to be a reason for all the drama.
I read The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. This was a page-turning mystery about a man named Aiden Bishop. He wakes up in a forest not knowing who he is or remembering anything from his life.
It is a new year with new resolutions. If one of them was to finally write that book and cross off ‘publish my own novel’ from your bucket list, you’re in luck with this blog post because I’ll be recommending websites that may help you do just that.
