Museum Passes
Wilmette Public Library belongs to two programs that offer passes to select Illinois cultural attractions, including museums, zoos, gardens, and more. Partner organizations offer benefits such as free admission or special discounts to pass holders. Passes are free to library card holders; some restrictions apply.
Experience museums throughout Illinois as well as in nearby Kenosha, Wisconsin. Attractions include the Chicago Children’s Museum, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, the Block Museum of Art, and many more cultural attractions.
To view available discounts and to reserve passes, visit the Explore More Illinois reservation website, select Wilmette Public Library from the dropdown menu, and enter your library card number.
Receive discounts at the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian, the Brookfield Zoo, and many other Chicagoland attractions. The full list of partner organizations is on the Museum Adventure Pass website.
A limited number of passes are available on a first come, first served, basis. Borrowing is limited to one pass per family per week. Passes expire one week after checkout.
To obtain a printed pass, visit the second floor Youth Services Desk with your Wilmette library card. Alternatively, to request a PDF of the pass, email Youth Services; responses may take up to one business day.
