On Saturday, April 20, we hosted an Eid al-Fitr Celebration in collaboration with the South Asian Families of Wilmette. More than 200 people joined us for crafts, origami, storytime, henna, an original scavenger hunt (you know how popular our scavenger hunts are!), delicious treats provided by our community partners, and more! We displayed books about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr that people could check out. You can see our updated booklist here, full of fantastic books to check out all year.

Everyone had a wonderful time coming together as a community. With the variety of experiences we provided, people could find many activities that interested them - and enjoy them as a family. Kind volunteers staffed the many stations and helped everyone participate.
