At the August 17 Regular Meeting of the Wilmette Public Library District Board of Trustees, the Board accepted the resignation of Trustee Jan Barshis, and voted unanimously to appoint former Trustee Stuart Wolf to fill the vacancy until the April 2023 election.

Wilmette Public Library has been recognized as one of the country’s Star Libraries in Library Journal’s annual statistical review of public library services.
