Weekly Storytimes
Join your librarians for live, interactive storytimes in the Youth Program Room!
- Babytime (Ages 0-24 months): Thursdays at 9:15am and 9:45am. A bonding experience for caregivers and babies, with songs, cuddles, and bounces. An open playtime will follow at 10:10am. Space is limited. Free tickets will be given out on a first come, first served, basis at the Youth Desk starting at 9am.
- Family Storytime (For the whole family): Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:30am and 10am. Stories, songs, and rhymes for the whole family. Space is limited. Free tickets will be given out on a first come, first served, basis at the Youth Desk starting at 9am.
- Story Explorers (Ages 4-7): Tuesdays at 4pm. Join us after school for stories full of humor and adventure, just for children ages 4-7. Children are encouraged to attend independently; parents and caregivers must stay nearby in the Youth Department during the program.
Drop-In Free Play
Mondays, 9:30-11:30am. Little ones can drop in to explore and play with a different selection of toys and manipulatives each week. Please note: On days when schools are visiting the library, Drop-In Free Play will be canceled; check our online calendar for updates.
Little Dabblers
Fridays, 9:30-10:30am. Ages 2 and up. Drop by for messy fun as we explore art, science, and our own senses.
Saturday Programs
Family programs are offered on Saturdays at 10am and 2pm on a rotating basis. Advance registration is not necessary, unless otherwise noted. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.
Family Storytime
Stories, songs, and rhymes for the whole family.
Little Play Café
Join your librarians for a short storytime, followed by free play for the little ones and coffee for the grown-ups.
Mandarin Storytime
Stories, songs, and fun in Mandarin Chinese. Presented by local educator Ling Liu.
Open Books, Open Minds
Books, music, and activities for the whole family that build community and help us talk about and engage with the world we live in.
Spanish-English Bilingual Storytime
Join us for stories and fun activities in Spanish and English. Presented by speech-language pathologist Paula Acuña.
Stories in Russian
Listen to stories in Russian and make a fun craft. Presented by storyteller Vlada Bernhardtz. Advance registration required.
