    Join us for this special evening storytime for you and your favorite stuffed pal. We'll listen to stories and do a craft before we tuck our friends in for the night. Come back the next day to pick up your stuffed animal and find out what the animals did in the Library while you were sleeping. Ages 4 to 7. Registration starts August 10 for Wilmette & Kenilworth residents, August 17 for nonresidents.
  • Celestial Suite - Cosmos in Concert

    Featuring the award-winning quintet, Axiom Brass, Celestial Suite is a multimedia show with narration, astronomy visuals, and live music. The show explores the beautiful rings of Saturn, the most distant galaxies in the universe, the mysteries hidden within black holes, and more! Celestial Suite was developed by Kyle Kremer through the Cosmos in Concert initiative in Northwestern University's Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA).

    Go camping without leaving Wilmette! We'll say goodbye to summer with crafts and activities best done in the great outdoors and eat pizza under the stars. No tent required. Note: this program will take place at the Gazebo at Mallinckrodt Park, 1960 Elmwood Ave. Grades 5-9. Sign-up starts August 14 for Wilmette & Kenilworth residents, August 21 for nonresidents.
